  • DAN ARNOLD

    TRANSPORT PLANNING COORDINATOR

I started on with Culina Group in April 2013 as an Apprentice in the Transport Planning department at the Market Drayton site. Starting as an Apprentice has given me hands on experience when it comes to all of the admin roles in the office, which has been great experience while completing my Level 3 Business and Administration NVQ. The managers in the Planning office are very supportive and have informed me that there is a chance to progress within the department, which is a brilliant incentive. I am enjoying my role and looking forward to the future at Culina Group.

  • AMY THOMAS

    HR PROJECT COORDINATOR

I started here at Culina Group at the beginning of 2014 as a HR Apprentice and since then I have become HR Project Coordinator. In my role, I support many new projects from their start point all the way through to the implementation stage, and I have gained considerable transferable knowledge and skills from the numerous projects I’ve been involved with thus far. I have also received the support and guidance to complete a Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration. At Culina Group you are given many opportunities to develop in your job. Culina Group is a rapidly expanding company and is constantly getting bigger and employees have the chance to grow with it. I can’t wait for the future here at Culina Group – I couldn’t have asked to be part of a better company!

  • JOSH BELLIAN

    FINANCE ASSISTANT

I am currently a Financial Apprentice and my main responsibilities are analysing and reporting weekly and monthly data for the profit and loss statements. Culina Group has given me the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities in many different ways and has provided a platform to develop my expertise through an NVQ and working with skilled and knowledgeable members of staff. My NVQ has been specifically tailored to suit my job role and has provided me with many skills that can be utilised in many other professional environments. I have enjoyed my short time at Culina Group and look forward to what the future holds with this ever-expanding company.

  • HANNAH JUSTICE

    RESOURCING APPRENTICE

I joined Culina Group as a Resourcing Apprentice in 2014 and my role involves supporting the company’s recruitment process. It's exciting to see the company constantly expanding, with new people always being welcomed into the business across our network, while various existing employees are making impressive advances up the career ladder, something that's a real source of motivation to me. I've noticed that there's room for substantial career development at Culina Group, which is illustrated by the progress of the numerous Apprentices who join the business each year. Culina Group is always supportive when it comes to developing its people and I think this is a really great place to launch your career.

  • AARON DHANOA

    COMMERCIAL ASSISTANT

After finishing sixth form, I joined Culina Group in April 2013 as a Commercial Apprentice and I feel as though my development has been substantial since then. Initially, my role was to support the Commercial function by dealing with general administration, producing KPI reports for our clients, taking minutes at client and internal meetings, and learning more about the Logistics and Commercial functions via the helpful advice and guidance of Culina Groups Account Managers. After the completion of my Apprenticeship, I was offered a full time role as a Commercial Assistant, which entailed a step-up in terms of responsibility. I now control and update many different information and management systems and I also build and maintain relationships with our clients, as well as producing a wide variety of data analysis work and information reporting for our organisation and for our clients. When I started at Culina Group I was quite a nervous, apprehensive and shy character, but I have gone from strength to strength and am now a lot more confident, self-assured and assertive. I could go on and on, but to summarise, choosing to work for Culina Group was the correct decision and I can only see myself growing and progressing further up the career ladder at this company.

  • LOUISE HUGHES

    FLEET ADMIN SUPPORT

I joined Culina Group in June 2013 as a Business Administration Apprentice in the Fleet department, providing support to the Fleet Admin Manger. Since joining Culina Group I have completed a Level 3 NVQ in Business and Administration, along with developing a new set of skills and knowledge relating to the logistics business. In 2014, I thoroughly enjoyed participating in various Culina Group 20th birthday events and the numerous fundraising events in aid of Macmillan were also extremely rewarding. I enjoy working for Culina Group as there is always the opportunity to do more (nobody wants to be sat around twiddling their thumbs!) and the company is always willing to assist you to progress within your job role. I have enjoyed working for the business and look forward to working here for many years to come and taking the new opportunities that are presented to me.
