We have a brand new opportunity to join our team as a Group Projects Controller. This role supports the Group functions, operational and commercial teams by providing clear analysis and insights on group wide projects and initiatives, developing business cases for projects where required. The successful candidate will partner with the Group and BU finance teams to ensure that relevant information from group wide projects and initiatives is shared and understood, supporting the BUs to embed initiatives into budgets and forecasts, where required.
Key responsibilities of the Group Projects Controller:
- Works with Group operational stakeholders to build portfolio of information
- Produce business cases and ad-hoc analysis as required
- Understand stakeholder objectives and priorities to builds their objectives accordingly
- Build standard reports for key areas to provide transparency of performance to the Exec and senior teams
- Supports the commercial decision-making process by developing guidelines and templates
- Supports BUs to deliver group wide projects
- Supports the strategic financial planning process by bringing transparency of the financial impacts of group wide initiatives
- Ensures that short term budgets and forecasts are aligned with financial targets defined by group wide projects and initiatives
- Communicates expectations from BUs clearly and on a timely basis to ensure alignment on group-wide initiatives and projects
- Gathers information from a wide range of sources to support stakeholder decision making
