A specialist role responsible for developing and maintaining the Chilled network and site reporting, including complex Microsoft Power Platform applications, aligned to the business’s self-service strategy. Initially focused on supporting CLL, the role will expand to cover the wider Chilled & Fresh Division.

In addition to development activities, the role will collaborate with the Regional CI Manager to shape medium- to long-term strategies- that enable the sustainable delivery and ongoing maintenance of MI tools, applications, and reporting across the Division. A key aspect of the role will involve upskilling and working collaboratively with colleagues across the network and within the Group. Adherence to Group IT standards, processes, and governance will also be essential.

This is a full time, permanent role. Working Monday to Friday, 08.30-17.00

Key Duties of a MI and Reporting Manager:

  • Development and delivery of Chilled Self-Serve Power BI and Apps pipeline
  • Responsible for maintaining the delivery plan, reporting progress, risks, issues and support benefits tracking relating to the above activity (working with the Regional CI Manager, PMO & Head of CI)
  • Work with Group IT to support and develop governance and technical documentation detailing requirements and solution design, UAT test scripts, gateway documents, project mandates, RFCs etc.
  • Undertake testing and oversee UAT across the network where agreed to support the rollout of Power BI and Applications as per the pipeline
  • Oversee a forum of divisional Power BI & Application superusers to encourage sharing of best practice
  • Provide oversight, technical review and sign off for other business Self-serve users
  • Support the upskilling & coaching of colleagues across the network to understand basic Power BI and Applications
  • Lead the delivery of network CI projects & initiatives to unlock benefit (SQCDP)
  • Support and lead at times senior stakeholder engagement
  • Support the delivery of the CLL business wide Change and CI strategy working with the Central Projects and CI team and other CI Practitioners i.e. Diagnostic activity, sharing of good practice, role modelling the right behaviours
