Shift: Monday-Friday 22:00pm-06:00am. 

Salary: £42,000-£48,000 per annum. 

To ensure the smooth day to day running of the technical function and ensure that company quality standards are adhered to.

The main responsibilities of the role are detailed as follows, please note that this list is not exhaustive.

• Assisting the Production team where possible: - 
• Providing engineering solutions and assist in an operational capacity.
• Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant.
• Follow preventative maintenance and lubrication schedules.
• Repairs during production.
• Planned maintenance.
• Inspection outside production hours, some weekend overtime working will be required to suit the business needs.
• Ideally you may have worked with packaging machinery within FMCG environment with supporting collage/technical qualifications in line with engineering experience to date.
• Familiar with maintaining packing equipment and Experience of pneumatics.
• Horizontal flow packers.
• Carton erectors.
• Gluing systems.
• Metal detectors / X-ray machinery.
• Check Weighers.
• Pallet wrapping m/c.
• Shrink wrapping.
• Various bespoke hand packing / labelling lines some with  printers
