We are looking for a confident and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our Markham Vale operation in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team to help deliver excellent service for a range of key customers.

In this role, you will support the Shift Manager in leading, motivating and developing the team, while making sure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 4 on 4 off Nights on a nightshift from 18:00 to 06:00

Salary: £15.88 per hour (£13.13 base rate plus £1 per hour Team Leader allowance plus £1.75 shift allowance)

What you’ll be doing

• Lead, organise and support a team of warehouse colleagues across the the operation
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.
