As the site Quality Manager you will be working closely with the General Manager and Quality team, the Quality Manager will be responsible for managing all Quality risks and opportunities across the site.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00-16.00
Key Duties of a Quality Manager:
- Adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company Health and Safety requirements.
- Successfully manage and exceed customers’ expectations on matters relating to food safety, quality and hygiene.
- Represent the Quality Team within the site Senior Management Team.
- Effectively manage and motivate site quality to achieve commercial, site and Quality objectives within the agreed timelines.
- Measure site standards across all operations in line with business, customer, legislative requirements, ISO9001 and ISO13485.
- Management of the Quality Management System and Operating Procedures including Operations, allergen management and pest control.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to effectively deliver change, improvements and new products to the business whilst always demonstrating the business behaviours.
- Review and audit the QMS and site with regard to product safety and quality to ensure that all processes are maintained to the highest standards in line with the Quality Management System, customer requirements, ISO9001 and ISO13485.
- Act as the site HACCP Team Leader ensuring development and monitoring of the site HACCP system in accordance with Customer standards.
- Use root cause analysis to ensure that any deviations to the agreed standards including customer complaints are investigated and acted upon to minimise any future risks.
- Manage the training and development of new starters within own department and provide on-going training in line with ISO9001 and ISO13485 standards.
- Champion customer complaint reduction for the site and develop and report on leading measures.
- Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.
