We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our Cannock site to support our General Haulage operation, completing store and RDC deliveries across the region. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and we have a variety of shift patterns including days (between 08:00 – 10:00 starts) and Nights (between 20:00 – 23:00 starts). Ideal shift patterns are below:

• Monday to Friday Days
• Thursday to Monday Days
• Friday to Monday Days
• Monday to Friday Nights
• Thursday to Monday Nights

Pay Rates:

We have increased our pay rates, with rates now ranging from £14.60 to £18.41 per hour, depending on shift – giving you even more reason to build your driving career with us.

• Mon-Fri Days – £14.60 per hour
• Mon-Fri Night Shift – £15.80 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift – £17.60 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift – £18.10 per hour
• Bank Holidays – £18.41 per hour. 

On top of base salary our HGV Drivers will be entitled to £5 per shift tax-free meal allowance, and £25 per night out tax-free allowance (if applicable)

Driver Responsibilities:

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers, to Distribution Centres and Stores
• Supporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and requirement to load and unload cages
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
