Stobart’s are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join us at our depot in Doncaster supporting Asda, one of the UK’s largest supermarket retailers.

This role is primarily trunking to and from Distribution Centres, however will be a requirement to support General Haulage activities as and when needed, including Warehouse and Store deliveries, and supporting the wider Stobart’s network.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and we have a variety of shift patterns including days between 09:00am-11:00am and Nights between 19:00pm-23:00pm available working any 5 days from 7. Weekend work may be required depending on demand

Pay Rates: (All rates include a Tier payment and a Meal allowance)

• Mon-Fri Days – £14.50 per hour
• Mon-Fri Night Shift – £15.80 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift – £17.50 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift – £18.00 per hour
• Bank Holidays – £18.31 per hour. 

Driver Responsibilities:

• Trunking runs between distribution centres from Doncaster depot
• Supporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and general work supporting the network.
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
