We are recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Shunter to join us at our customer operation in Workington, responsible for Shunting Loads on site at Iggesund Paper Mill. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards.

The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis 4 on 4 off Night Shifts with a shift pattern 18:00pm – 06:00am

This is a salaried role and the annual salary is: £35.294 per annum

Driver Responsibilities:

• On Site Shunting responsibilities, loading and unloading goods and transporting around site
• Shunting Trailers between loading docks and designated yard areas
• Ensuring correct positioning for loading and unloading
• Operating Vehicles in line with site rules, speed limits and pedestrian controls
• Completing all necessary vehicle checks and documentation
• Maintaining high levels of safety, compliance, and professionalism
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
