Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in logistics, warehousing, and transport operations? Do you thrive on delivering complex projects that create lasting business value?
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Transformation team, driving the successful delivery of operational projects across the business. Working closely with operational leaders, functional experts, suppliers, and customers, you’ll ensure projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, and aligned to strategic objectives.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping operational improvements, implementing innovative solutions, and supporting large-scale transformation programmes across the Culina Group.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of operational projects through structured planning, coordination, governance, and delivery assurance.
Initially, you’ll oversee and report on a portfolio of Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives within a major retail transport contract, while managing several significant projects within that programme. Over time, you’ll also lead transport and warehousing projects across the wider business.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and managing project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
- Defining project scope, requirements, assumptions, and success criteria.
- Ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with operational requirements.
- Identifying, managing, and escalating risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinating stakeholders across operations, central functions, suppliers, and customers.
- Monitoring project budgets, financial performance, and efficiency-saving opportunities.
- Managing change requests and maintaining project governance.
- Producing project status reports, dashboards, and updates for senior stakeholders and PMO teams.
- Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and operational readiness activities.
- Ensuring effective project handover into business-as-usual operations.
- Capturing lessons learned and promoting continuous improvement across the Transformation team.
- Sharing best practice and contributing to the development of project delivery capabilities across the function.
